TMA Throws Pentathlon Championship

Venue:  Domain Athletics Centre, Queens Domain, Hobart

Date: Sunday 4 December starting at 12 noon.

Events:

• Throw Pentathlon (Hammer Throw, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin and Weight Throw, in that order)
• 56lb Weight Throw
• 100lb Weight Throw

Entry Fee: $10.00 for the Championship Events (TMA Throws Pentathlon, the 56lb and 100lb Weight Throw). This fee covers all 3 of the events. No discount is offered for competing in less than the 3 events. Members are able to compete in the individual throw events at no cost if they do not wish to enter the Pentathlon but will only have 3 attempts.

Medals will be awarded in the TMA Throws Pentathlon (not individual events), the 56lb and the 100lb Weight Throw to men and women in each 5 year age group. i.e. M and W 35-39, 40-45 etc. Entrants must me financial members of TMA to be eligible for medals. TMA members must wear TMA uniform in the championship event.

The proposed timetable is:
12:00pm - Hammer
12:35pm - Shot Put
1:10pm - Discus
1:45pm - Javelin
2:20pm - Weight Throw
- presentation of Throws Pentathlon medals.
3:00pm - 56lb
3:30pm - 100lb

- presentation of 56lb and 100lb medals.

There is no online entry portal for this event - entry is via email to [email protected] - please state your name, age group on the day of competition and the events you are entering. Entry fees are payable via bank transfer to the TMA bank account, or by cash or credit card on the day.
