TMA 3000M CHAMPIONSHIP – PENGUIN 26 JANUARY 2021

TMA will conduct a 3000m Championship as part of the Athletics Tasmania 2021 Tasmanian Open and under age 3000m Championships to be held at Penguin on 26 January 2021. The entry portal is now open at https://www.tasathletics.org.au/events/85406/. This is the entry portal that athletes who are or have been registered with Athletics Tasmania (AT) for either All Year or Out of Stadium (OOS) must use.

You must use your Athletics Tasmania member log in to enter these Championships. Interstate athletes may also enter. If you have not previously registered for an AT run event, please go to https://www.revolutionise.com.au/tma/registration/ and register as a TMA Member Only.

For those competing in the TMA championships only it is $10. The entry fee for open events is $13. Masters athletes can enter in both categories but will need to pay both fees.

Masters Athletes must be financial members of TMA (or another affiliated Masters body) to be eligible for TMA medals. Medals will be awarded to placegetters in each 5-year age group (i.e. W30-34, M30 – 34, W35-39 etc.).

Please ensure you read the other event information provided at https://www.tasathletics.org.au/events/85406/.

Please email Secretary Phil Hand at tasmasterssec@gmail.com if you are uncertain on how to proceed or have any questions. We ask that if you are uncertain, that you contact Phil before attempting to register.

The philosophy of the Masters movement is participation. Come along and enjoy yourself in running, walking, throwing and jumping. While membership is restricted to those over 30, children or grandchildren of members are most welcome to participate with us. Only financial members are eligible for Championships however.
