NOTICE OF TMA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The AGM of Tasmanian Masters Athletics Inc. will be held on Saturday, 27 June, 2020 at The Domain Athletic Centre Function Room commencing at 3:00 pm.

All members are invited to attend. The agenda and a committee nomination form are attached.

All members are invited to consider nominating for the Committee. Names of current committee members can be found on the TMA website at https://tasmastersathletics.org.au/committee/

IMPORTANT

This year, there will be a maximum number of 20 persons permitted at the AGM. This is in order that we comply with the State Government’s Covid19 restrictions. Due to this cap on numbers, we ask

that members who intend to come to the meeting advise TMA Secretary Phil Hand at tasmasterssec@gmail.com no later than Friday 19 June 2020.

If you do intend to come because you have a particular matter that you wish to raise, please clearly state that in your email. Anything raised can only be for mention at the meeting. It can then be

noted for later consideration by the incoming Committee. It cannot form part of the business of the AGM.

PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES

Due to the cap on the number of attendees, trophies for the 2019-20 season will not be presented after this year’s meeting as has been the normal practice in past years. The only exception to this will the presentation of trophies to any trophy winner who travels to Hobart from the North of the state for the meeting.

At the conclusion of the meeting, there will be afternoon tea with tea and coffee available.
