Since its visionary inception 40 years ago as the Veterans Athletics Association of Tasmania, there have been many changes, including a change in nomenclature to the Tasmanian Masters Athletics association.

Despite a change in name, the spirit of the TMA is enduring and strong. Our members believe in perpetuating, through the decades, both friendship and fitness.

This book is a record of the contributions and achievements of Tasmanian Masters Athletes over the last four decades, which we hope will inspire Masters Athletes for decades to come.”
