The 2020 AMA Winter Throwing Championships are coming! Recognised as the ultimate long weekend of Throwing events in Australia, come join us in Wollongong in October for 3 days of high level competition, social interaction and FUN! - Entries close at midnight AEST on Tuesday, 22 September 2020.
Saturday October 3 — Monday October 5, 2020
At the Kerryn McCann Athletics Centre, Wollongong, NSW . The Kerryn McCann Athletics Track is located within the grounds of Beaton Park Leisure Centre, in Gwynneville Wollongong, approximately one hour’s drive south of Sydney.
SATURDAY 5th OCTOBER, 9.30am:
- Throws Pentathlon
- 56lb and 100lb throws
SUNDAY 6th OCTOBER, 9.30am:
- Individual Events: Hammer, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Weight Throw
- Weight for Distance
MONDAY 7th OCTOBER, 9.30am:
- Heavy Weight Pentathlon / Super weights
Uniforms: Wearing of State uniform is encouraged but not compulsory.
