The 2019 Tasmanian Road Running Championships will be contested in conjunction with the Hazel Bros Glenorchy Fun Run on Sunday, 28 July 2019. This is due to the cancellation of the 2019 Tasmanian Running Festival in Launceston.

All athletes who are taking part in the Glenorchy Fun Run who wish to be considered for the Tasmanian Championships must be registered with Athletics Tasmania before noon on Friday 26 July. Please do not leave this until the last day as this creates difficulties.

Any athlete who wishes to “enter” the 2019 Tasmanian Road Running Championships should enter the relevant event distance in the Glenorchy Fun Run and pay the applicable entry fee. Here is the link to enter: https://nsacgfr.wixsite.com/glenorchyfunrun

There is no additional fee to be considered for the Tasmanian Championship. If any athlete has already entered the Glenorchy Fun Run and now wishes to change distance to be eligible for their state championship please email [email protected] and arrangements will be made to change the athlete over to the new distance.

The Tasmanian Championships will again be recognised in the following age groups for men and for women:

10km

Open, Under 20, Over 40, Over 50

All athletes will be classified in the open championships. Athletes will be classified in the other age groups according to standard age eligibility rules:
