The TMA Pentathlon

The TMA T & F Pentathlon Championships are scheduled for the Domain Athletics Centre, Hobart

The first event starts at 12:00 noon sharp so athletes need to be warmed up ready to compete at that time.

The Pentathlon events are:

Women:  100m; Shot Put; Long Jump; Javelin and 800m.

Men: Long Jump; Javelin; 200m; Discus and 1500m.

The proposed start times for each event are listed below - note that, other than the first event at 12:00pm, times are indicative and subject to change

• 12:00 noon - Women's 100m
• 12:00pm - Men's Long Jump
• 12:30pm - Women's Shot Put
• 12:45pm - Men's Javelin
• 1:15pm - Women's Long Jump
• 1:30pm - Men's 200m
• 2:00pm - Women's Javelin
• 2:15pm - Men's Discus
• 2:45pm - Women's 800m
• 2:50pm - Men's 1500m.

Medallions will be awarded to the first three place getters in 5-year age groups; i.e. 30-34; 35-39; etc.

The entry fee will be $10.00 and entrants must be financial members of TMA to enter.

The closing date/time of entry is 10pm on Friday, 18 November 2022.
